Polices and Procedures
Arrival
South Yard supervision starts at 8:15 a.m. Therefore, students should arrive at school no earlier than 8:15 a.m. If children do come earlier, parents should remain with them until the South or North Yard Supervisor opens the gates.
If a student arrives before 8:15am, they should wait on the front steps of the school. On rainy days, we will open the gates at 8:15am, and students will go directly to their classrooms.
The warning bell will ring at 8:25am, signaling students to line-up.

Dismissal
- Kindergartner and 1st graders – Please meet your students at the Primary-South Yard gates. Teachers will dismiss directly to guardians.
- 2nd-5th graders - Parents can meet their children at the appropriate gate (see map linked above), or if you are picking your child up, they will gather on the front steps and will come to you as you pull into the loading zone. (Please do not exit your car.)
Please pick up your child(ren) immediately at dismissal time. Those students not picked up will be returned to the school to wait quietly in the office until a parent arrives. Parents should notify the office immediately if they will be delayed.

Llegada

Despido

We all are impacted by school traffic, whether we are trying to get our children to school, trying to get to work, living in the neighborhood, or just passing through during pick-up and drop-off activities.
